Canine Taste Tester Squadron Roster: Cadet Listing!
Here's a list of the dogs who have applied for and been accepted into the Canine Taste Tester Squadron. For each Squadron member, we've included some important details so you can get to know them.
Be sure to read about the various taste tests Squadron members have undertaken to see what they think of some of our baked creations.

Squadron Airdog First ClassName: Cooper NOTES: Cooper is a 14 month old Golden Retriever. She loves to dig, chase cats and chew anything in site. She loves bones, the kind you eat as well as the kind you just chew to death so that you won't chew your master's furniture or other important things. Cooper is well loved and spoiled by her family, 2 adults and 2 very active boys. Her most recent hobby is to dig up any plant that anybody plants. She is also trying to dig a moat around the deck, I don't know what she thinks she is protecting us from, but she is sure working hard at it. |

Squadron CadetName: Molly & Keagan NOTES: Molly is on the right. They lounge at our house. They sleep together on their bed. They are best buddies. When one goes out they both go out. They love to chase each other around the yard. They bark at squirrels and point at birds (any kind). We do not hunt so the instinct is inbred. |
Squadron Airdog First ClassName: Sable NOTES: Just heard about Boston Baked Bonz through Farm Sanctuary. My collie dog Sable just turned 7; she's been a vegan for 4 years!!! I rescued her from a shelter 5 years ago (or maybe she rescued me!). She LOVES cookies and treats, so I am sure we'll be ordering from you guys soon. And she tells me I simply must send in her application for the "Canine Taste Tester Squadron"! She's so pretty, I just had to attach some pictures to show her off! |

Squadron Airdog First ClassName: Val NOTES: Val enjoys long walks on the beach, leisurely swims, rousing games of soccer ball and good long naps in the sun. Her favorite treats contain peanut butter! Val is the most important member of the family, and the best part of the day is snuggling with her in bed (although she is a bit of a bed hog)! |

Squadron CadetName: Avery NOTES: Although his birthday is unknown, he and his human parents celebrated their one year anniversary together on March 27, 2007. Avery was rescued by a couple of vegan activists who found him wandering around Farm Sanctuary's California Shelter in Orland. He was never "claimed," so he became part of an extended family of cats, all of whom he is not crazy about, but will tolerate because he really, really loves his mom. Also known as the "needle-nose," Avery can rip the squeaker out of any and all stuffed animals in thirty seconds flat and has been known to be an excellent driver and a piglet activity organizer. The modern-day equivalent of Life cereal's unforgettable "Mikey" character, Avery rejects most treats on the planet, but BBB apple muffins have won his heart. He is now more ready than ever before to accept any Boston-born taste-testing challenges. He also noticed that there aren't many littles on the squadron and wanted to make sure there was more balance among crew members. |

Squadron Airdog First ClassName: Candy NOTES: Candy is our 7-year-old golden retriever who came to us from a local golden retriever rescue group. Since making her home here, she's lost 30 lbs (from an all time high of 102 lbs.) through proper diet and exercise. She's a great dog, and most everyone who meets her remarks on how mellow and gentle she is. She likes other dogs just fine, but really likes people best. Her original name, Candy, fits her well, because she's a real sweetie. She would like to join the taste tester squadron to help you determine if vegan treats are really better than chicken. |

Squadron CadetName: Winston & Spencer NOTES: Winston loves agility and he went to therapy training. We visit a local nursing home. Spencer is my outdoor guy. He loves to lie in the sun, or the rain, or the snow. Both these guys have added so much to my life. |
Squadron CadetName: Bohdi NOTES: My beautiful baby Bohdi would love to be a member of the Canine Taste Tester Squadron! He is a 2-year-old pit bull that loves his brother (rescued mix breed) and sister (rescued basset hound) and is the apple of his mommy and daddy's eye. We stumbled on your site from a link on PETA's site. We (Mom and pups) just love your site and all of the great family photos! Thanks! |

Squadron Airdog First ClassName: Bella NOTES: She loves to play with all her friends at the dog park and also watch the Patriots with us on Sunday's. Bella is typically the smallest dog in the park, but always seems to run the show. Although she has so much energy, she loves to lounge on our laps every night and keep us company after a long day of work. She loves to eat ice cubes, cheese, every variety of dog treat, lettuce, moths, worms, grass, and bees. I think she wants their honey. Bella recently discovered how much fun swimming can be and it’s now one of her favorite activities. She also likes to chase cats and squirrels. We have plenty of both in our neighborhood. |

Squadron CadetName: Cubby & Gracie NOTES: Cubby and Gracie absolutely adore your peanut butter cookies. They wish you would make more cookies without wheat flour. They eat a variety of treats, but I can see from their expression when they eat your peanut butter cookies that they think they are in doggie heaven. Cubby and Gracie are originally from Toronto, Canada. They were born in 2002. They are Chinese Foo dogs and are brother and sister. They are extremely intelligent and have a little of that asian breed snootiness which makes for some very interesting moments. They are very important members of our household. When they are not guarding and protecting our home, they are busy looking for treats and playing. The Boston Baked Bonz peanut butter cookies are their favorites. These treats are so special they do not get them everyday like their other munchies which include chicken jerky, sweet potato chews and salmon skin. I am sure that they would love to get their paws on the peanut butter cookies every chance they could, but then they would no longer be special to them. They are very selective when it comes to their food so if they like your cookies you know you have a hit on your hands. They would consider themselves honored and fortunate if they are selected to be on the Boston Baked Bonz team. |

Squadron CadetName: Dylan NOTES: Dylan is my first dog and I don’t think my fiancé and I could have found a better companion. Since he was just a little guy he has thought of himself as a lap dog, and now as an 80 pound dog he still feels free to climb on the couch and bury his face behind your back. He is very athletic but by far his favorite activity is to play fetch. Even with other dogs in the park he seems to only have eyes for his tennis ball. Like all puppies he has lots of energy and tends to get overly excited about the smallest thing like finding a stick or digging something up that he is not supposed to. However he also knows how to wind down and loves to fall a sleep during a nice long brushing. Dylan considers himself a connoisseur of treats as he has tried just about everything you can find at the local pet store. He can never have too many treats however, and he would just love to become a canine taster. Squadron Airdog First ClassName: Bagel NOTES: Despite most people thinking bulldogs are lazy, Bagel is a bundle of energy. We only feed her all natural food and cookies and are always on the look out for new products. We would love to be tasters for your products. Look forward to hearing from you. |

Squadron CadetNames: Riley & Laurel NOTES: Riley and Laurel think you need a southern dog's taste buds to sample your treats, maybe with a glass of sweet tea. Riley, being originally from NY, is learning the finner things of being a Southener. He was adopted from the Putnam Humane Society in Carmel, NY. He is a terrier mix and is an old man in a young man's body. He tucks himself into bed every night around 8pm. Laurel is a white boxer, american bulldog mix who was rescued off on a interstate in Texas after being shot and having a quarter of her teeth knocked out. Riley is eating a homemade doggie cake for his 4th year adoption anniversary in the picture. I thought they would be good canine-a-dates to taste your treats as they have developed a fine pallet for good food. Both came from abusive and neglected homes, and with us they are king and queen of the house. We feel they deserve every bit of spoiling they get. |

Squadron CadetNames: Mullet NOTES: Mullet is special because he's very loving & smart. He can sit, shake, lay down & roll over! At only five pounds, he can run three whole miles & was a huge hit in the 2008 Komen Race for the Cure!!! He LOVES peanut butter flavored treats from Boston Baked Bonz!!!! He's looking forward to joining the squadron! |
