Here is the feedback from the Squadron's taste-testing activity in the Summer of 2007. Our WILD Blueberry Muffins were introduced to Squadron members after significant in-house and Squadron cadre testing. You can read about all of our Squadron members here.

Name: Cooper
Birthday: *classified*
Location: Colrain, MA
Breed: Golden Retriever
Cooper loved the Wild Blueberry Muffins. When she first got them she
carried the first one around in her mouth seeing if it was ok for her to
eat. She thought it was people food. Once she chewed up the first one she
came back for the second one immediately.

I enjoyed the beautiful presentation of the wild blue berry muffins. Looks just like my human mom makes them! I love the blueberries and the antioxidant properties in them (we dogs need antiooxidants too!).
I am not used to the smell and taste of cinnamon, so I was a little hesitant at first. My Mom told me cinnamon is good for you and is used in many gourmet recipes (i.e., carob chip cinnamon bark etc.) so I will have to get more accustomed to it.
I would rate them a 10 for presentation, the taste of the blueberries and a 6 for the rest only due to the cinnamon. (I am only used to gourmet peanut butter cookies from the health food store.)
Can't wait to try more!
Tastefully Yours,
Gabe (Gabriel)
Squadron Cadet
Name: Charley
Birthday: 9 July 2006
Location: Bridgewater, MA
Breed: Boxer
Charley was very excited to get his blue muffins and to find his picture on the website. When we got the muffins his best friend Roxie was over. Roxie is a three year old basenji mix. Roxie and Charley both got a muffin. Roxie who is definetly a more picky eater loved the muffins and ate them very quickly. She ended up eating hers quickly and helped Charley with his. I think the muffin was too big for Charley I think he would have enjoyed it a bit more if they were smaller. He licked at it and ate a little but Roxie was too quick and ate it when he wasn't looking. So I would consider making them a bit smaller but it seemed both enjoyed the taste especially the blueberries.

Hello! It's your loyal Taste Tester Squadron Cadet Sable here! I received my sample of "wild blueberry muffins". They held up really well during shipping, both muffins were still intact. When my human gave me one, I gave her the "are you sure I'm allowed to eat this?" look. They did get crumbly when I ate them, luckily I am better than a vacuum at cleaning up crumbs! I ate the blueberries first, they were my favorite part, and there was a good amount of berries in the muffin. You can never have too many blueberries in my opinion! Thank you for trusting me with the important task of taste testing, and I look forward to my next assignment! Woofs and Wags,
Sable.

Name: Val
Birthday: 6 December 2001

Breed: Labrador Retriever
Val loved the blueberry muffins! She was a little finicky at first, as she always is with something new, but once she sniffed it and licked it, she gobbled it right up. Then she was begging for more!
